Freedom is Priceless..

Freedom; What does it mean to you?

According to Merriam Webster Dictionary,
Freedom is said to be;

1 : the quality or state of being free: as
a : the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action

b : liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another : independence

c : the quality or state of being exempt or released usually from something onerous

d : ease, facility

e : the quality of being frank, open, or outspoken

f : improper familiarity

g : boldness of conception or execution

h : unrestricted use

2 a : a political right .

Freedom has one common meaning, Being free from limitations and bondage.

Recently I saw what Freedom meant in a practical way.

There is this bucket in my office, with a little amount of water. Unconsciously , a young rat fell into it.
It became clear to this young rat, that he is in danger.
He kept struggling , running in circles, thinking as fast as he can, to devise means out of this Limitations and danger.
He knew that, if he doesn’t find a way out, he would die and he won’t die without a fight, hence the struggle.

He kept on struggling, Nothing else mattered to him, all that he had, his ambition of being the best rat that ever lived, that pretty female rat, his dream wife, everything became inconsequential to him.
I could make a deal with him not to torment my office ever, he won’t hesitate to take it, he just wants to be free and alive.

I can feel him getting cold , weak and giving up.
He knows its fate.
Am not going to make it alive.

Many of us are into some form of bondage and limitations.
We know that , if we don’t seek our freedom, we would eventually die in it.
Some don’t even care to fight, even if it means, thats the best they could do, to get freedom,
Some give up so easily and accept it as their fate.
While some are being threatened, never to seek freedom, nor think about it.
They become victims of wrong choices and decisions.

I have a feeling , the rat was aiming something , before he met his Waterloo .
Likewise , we might be aiming a particular gains, influence, power, harm and control, intense curiosity, before finding ourselves in dangerous and questionable circumstances.

We can always get freedom if we seek one, make a decision, even in hopeless situations.

The saying ” there is light at the end of a dark tunnel” is true.

I took the bucket outside , far from my office , threw the water away, to give this young rat Freedom.
As I threw the water away, the rat came out.
For few seconds he didn’t move, it was standing, i saw his tiny hand, he was happy, he is alive, wish I could hear him exclaim his joy!
Say thank you!
He learnt his lessons .
Promised to lead a better life.

This is how we feel when we get freedom.
We make new resolutions and promises.
We feel anew.
We are happy!
We regret all our past mistakes.
We exclaim with joy, the feeling of being free and alive.

Don’t give up.
Fight for your freedom.
Make an attempt.
Don’t accept anything as your final fate.
Don’t allow wrong choice and decisions ruin your life, you have a say and the will.
Trust GOD.
You can be free and whole again.

Freedom is Priceless.

Social Media and Online Discrimination

Social Media and Online Discrimination.

According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, Social can be defined as relating to or involving activities in which people spend time talking to each other or doing enjoyable things with each other.

Media can be a medium of cultivation, conveyance, or expression.

In essence , social media is a platform were people interact through a medium. Irrespective of your race, color, country and belief , social media erased such limitations.

But its sad to note , that racism is crawling into social media. Caning its own lane, breeding hatred and discord. Defying the initial purpose, why social media was created.

This limitations , makes it difficult for people to interact across globes and continent.

Social media was created to bridge the gap of differences, bring people of Like minds and same interest together, and also gives people the privilege to Join any interest of your choice, without restrictions.

But times are changing, and Social media Innovators needs to look into this issue. The issue of discrimination and racism. Try as much as possible to block such loop holes.

There are platforms, most countries can’t use, and a look at that, it ought not to be so.

The best social media innovators can do, is to monitor and filter uses and consumption.

And I have an issue with people painting Nigeria, in bad light.

Its really not funny anymore. I haven’t heard nor seen any country, that invest its resources in discrediting, castigating and criticizing like Nigerians do.

Its so appalling to note that, we have been tagged to anything evil, bad or terrible.

People are scared to relate, interact, give privileges, make business deals , give positions and deserved respect to us. This ought not to be so.

You are limiting and dimming the lights of the Lovely people in this country.

We have talents in abundance, we just need someone or institutions that can enhance the potentials in Nigeria. In every sector, we have the capabilities, the strength, vigor, zeal, and intelligence.

Am appealing to everyone to do their best in putting this country and its people in bright light. We need to build a better place for our now and the future.

It will be disastrous, if we leave things this way.

The future generations will not only hate us but will have difficult times relating and showcasing their potentials among peers across the globes.

We need to curb this Stigma now, before it strangles our future.

Respect to Women.

To be a woman is not about inflating body parts and undergoing surgeries !

You are 1000000 million miles far from reality!

There is a hospital behind my window.
Where women give birth.

Most times am awakened by a loud scream or If am awake, I would hear loud screams , most times 2 or 3am , sometimes 4 or 5am.

Women in labour and excruciating pains.

Some scream for hours trying to Push .
And the voices are not bedroom voice.
Thick and loud.

When they start screaming, you will be scared, they don’t even mind the time.

Ha ! What A Pain!

There was a day , one woman was in labour and her scream was loud, I was scared!
Am like , what the heck!
I was expecting the baby, as if am the dad!
All I wanted to hear is the cry from the baby!
The baby finally came out, Thank Goodness GOD !
The baby didn’t cry immediately, I heard some beatings(I have sharp ears).
Then the baby finally cried!
Awwww !
I imagined the beauty of it !
I said to myself, boy that’s how you came into this world .
That’s how the journey started for everyone.

Am appalled when frustrated and fed up men, wake up one day, dress up in a man’s cloth, contact a doctor, withdraw money from his account, pay for surgery and boom !

He starts flaunting inflated chest, shaking inflated behind and he calls himself a woman, and you accept it, saying he is brave?
Are you really okay?
Like Okay?

Where is your pride of womanhood?
How on earth are you supporting an imposter, a fraud and frustrated man, who wants to be accepted by female folks , by all means possible?

Damn!
Oh Lord bring back the sense of reasoning and discernment!

Being a woman is more than physical appearance.
There is a purpose in being a woman.
Women are created with values.
Designed in a special way!

Please shove that crap, of a man becoming a woman as bravery into septic tank!
That’s were craps relax.

No atom of bravery in it, its a deception, an alternative for inferior, frustrated and fed up men, seeking recognition and relevance!

Dazzol !!

And men!
Please I beg you!
Appreciate and support your woman!
My brother e no easy too for them oo!
Please pamper your pregnant wife,
You know how it feels, drinking heavy and eating excess, you are so much in pains until you ease out, that’s how it is for them too!

Bros na 9 Months oooo, yours na only one day!
Biko ejoor please!
Help out!
If it means having a helper for that period , biko find !
Cook the soup, pound the yam, wash the clothes, mob the floor, no big deal in doing this things, it won’t readjust your first name, support her, na una two play the match, so no leave am suffer alone!

You Have Values…

“When There is Hunger in the Jungle, The Lion doesn’t go about feeding with Pigs”.

I said the Above Quote to Drive Home a Point, which you will get to Read.

Yesterday, I was coming back from an Event, I was on a Motocycle, I saw a number of People, standing on one side of the Road.

I was Curious, What’s going on? I asked.

On my way out to the event, I don’t know how A motocycle and A jeep hit themselves, the Next thing I saw, was a Guy on the floor, obviously in pains.
While coming back from the event, before I saw people standing on the road, I saw shattered wind screen glasses, a towing van and a Disfigured ‘Danfo’….

This occasions made me Curious on why there is, these number of people, on the road…

The guy driving the motocyle said;
” Oga , hmmm, na one lady like that ooo, 
Me: Lady? What did she do? 
Motocycle driver: oga , e be like say she collect one man money,
Me: Money? How?
Motocycle guy: yes, as she come for bus stop, na so she start removing her clothes, and wearing it back!
Me: huh? Are you serious?
Motocycle Guy: yes na, na im make people stand they hold am.
The money wey she collect , juju dey am….

I was a Shocked, I didn’t know what to say.

But I feel I need to talk to the Ladies.

What’s Really Going on with us?
Let’s talk….

We are so quick to Fall in love with Men, we Know nothing about!

Forget that crap of Love at First sight.
Its Lust!
Love develops!
You get to see that person often, for you to fall in love.
The only thing that happens at first sight is Attraction.

You are attracted to the person, but you fall in love gradually, when you see the person often and there is some form of interactions.

But the 21st century Ladies, Fall in love straight, without even knowing the name of the person nor what he does (sometimes guys even lie).

They judge their level of love, with what they see at that moment. The type of car , his Attire and how he spend.

They are quick to lay without any form of knowing , they don’t even care if he has any disease, or he is a ritualist, or anything.

They are more concerned about the Money!

You hear them say:

“The money is the main ‘koko’.
“We need to maintain ourselves,
We need to buy clothes, buy make-up kits,
“We need to feel among”…

“There is no Job, the economy is hard, we have to use what we have to get what we want”!

And when the disease comes….

You hear:

“We can always treat ourselves., 
“We get our own ‘juju'(voodoo).
“Nothing dey happen”.

Ha !

In ignorance, they don’t even know, that there are sexually transmitted diseases that ‘Juju’ can’t even cure!
The so called money they have acquired, they would use it, going from one Hospital to another !
Seeking help and medical assistance.

Some have resort to, being the distributor of that disease.
Since they can’t cure it…

They seem happy and classic on the outside, but they are depressed within.

Wheeeeew!!!

A lot of issues!

The Economy is hard quite alright, but there are things you can do with your hands..

You got Brains! 
Don’t limit your brain capability.
You have the power in you!
You can do anything! Am pretty sure of that !
We have hardworking ladies, earning clean cash, buying things they need for themselves, they aint depending on any man.

They call them independent women.

They hate to tie their well being to a man!
They want to be self sufficient.

For the fact their is hunger in the land, shouldn’t make you stoop so low.
You have values!

Refer back to the first quote.
Have you seen a Lion mingling with pigs, Just because , there is Hunger in the Jungle?

Never!
It keeps it cool !

There are a lot of ladies making it, you too can be among!

You can solve a need with your hands and brians.

Don’t put your Life into Jeopardy with diseases, you will live to regret, just because of Money.
Please.

You can make it !!
You got the Brains!
You are super intelligent!
You are endowed with Beauty and Brains.

Humanity Needs you!
You can create solutions to the problems in the society.

Do you know?

A woman developed and created the main materials used in Bullet Proof Vest?
Yes!
She solved a Problem.

Do you also Know?

There is this Young lady in Unilag,
She cooks food for guys in school, deliever to them and gets her pay?
She is making her money.

Its high time you tell the guys! 
You aint created to be devalued, used, abused and Trashed.

There are great potentials in you!
You are capable.

I see you climbing heights!
